A public sector insurance company, with more than 4,000 employees, sought our expertise in absence and disability management at work. Their main goal was to better train managers in handling cases of extended absences and disability.
Problem
The company was facing a growing number of complex cases related to extended absences and sick leave. Managers were struggling to manage these cases effectively, leading to delays in decision-making and inefficient management of disability situations.

Approach
- Analysis of Problematic Cases
- During regular meetings on Teams, complex cases involving long-term sick leave and disability situations were presented by managers. Each case was thoroughly analyzed.
- Micro-Trainings
- Micro-training sessions were organized for managers, in small or large groups, to teach them new management habits. These trainings aimed to enhance their ability to anticipate problems and resolve cases with greater autonomy.
- Action Plans
- For each case, a personalized action plan was developed, highlighting immediate corrective measures as well as long-term strategies for better management of similar future situations.
Results
